It is a possibility.

So a quick prayer request from everyone;
1. Brent might be getting that promotion his supervisor has been hanging over his head for the past year. (This would mean finally upgrading to a 2 bedroom, yay!)
2. The company that I was going to be working for just decided to cut back on their employees; so please pray I find an incredible Medical Transcription Co! (There are a couple I will be applying for this week.)
3. Moving to SLO might be in order. We have been wanting to move to SLO for awhile now, we were just unsure once Brent gets a company car how it would work for commute. However, Brent's manager actually indorsed it completley oking the vehicle being on our property. So, please pray for us to find a place that is affordable, clean and at least a 2 bedroom. :)
4. Brent brought up the other day that he feels that he has a desire for trying for 2nd baby, which I am starting to share. (completley shocking for us too.) So please pray for God to plant the right direction for us. If it is not his will that he will close all oppurtunity.

And of course for us to utilize our wisdom in a way that is glorifying to God.:)

Love ya!

The Latest and Greatest

Hello, hello! Man, this blog is entirely WAY overdue. So much has happened over the past, let's see, 6 months! So, I will stick to the past couple of weeks.

Ezekiel has developed quite a sense of humor recently. His latest games includes "peek-a-boo" and teasing us. He waits until we talk and tells us to,"Shh!"- pointer finger and all. It's pretty funny.

For Thanksgiving we had the pleasure of staying at my Uncle Greg and Aunt Robin's house in Redding. My dad and step mom were up there, along with my Uncle Micheal and two cousins Kristy and Kevin. We had a blast! Every night we played a game called "Rock star", which you actually are virtually playing in a band. I was pretty good with the drums and vocals but very very very poor at anything else. Brent did great at everything, as usual...... :). One day I'll beat him at something! We also dared to shop on "Black Friday" in hopes of finding a fabulous price on a very specific TV. (Brent has been researching for awhile now; it is a 1020 Plasma something, something, something...) No luck, or at least we decided to save our money until after Christmas. We did find some steals for others gifts though! Plus, our cousin Kristy was such a big help with Ezekiel, as well as really good company! (In fact she might join as at Ireland for our Anniversary.) My Aunt gave Brent and I a really nice Cannon! And a Bag, then my dad gave us a really nice Tripod and some film! ( I know! We are SO lucky!) Since I took photo 3 years ago I have been wanting to invest, but we just haven't been that fortunate, so I am ecstatic! (THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!) Brent is too, he takes some phenomenal nature shots so I am looking forward to seeing the prints.

We took our first family portraits two weekends ago, a local Christian Mom is starting her own business and this lady is talented!!! So far she has only edited 5 shots, but I will post them when they are completley finished.

We have also been having weeky hang outs with our fabulous friends, The Dalys! They are gems and while Katie and I have known each other for a long time, Andrew and Brent are like soul mates. It is really surprising how much those two are alike! They also have a beautiful daughter who is about 4 months older than Ezekiel and last week they had there first kiss! We couldn't stop laughing; Katie asked Abigail to give Ezekiel a kiss and when she spproached Zeke, he turned his face and pretty much licked her mouth. Yeah, I know, do not worry Brent had, "the talk" with him. Abigail has since been very aggressive with telling Ezekiel, "No!". We really love them, they honestly have blessed us so much with their friendship and we love Abbas like she was our own.

Well, that is all I have time for now. I will post our family pictures soon as well as "Ezekiel's first year: the great adventure"

Love you all!~Crish

Needed Prayer for Adrianna

This is a post by Crisha.

My family has known for awhile that my younger sister has been going down the wrong path. But, seeing her hit rock bottom is a powerful blow. Especially when it is Meth.

On Tuesday I sat in Drug Court with my mom and watched a cop bring in my baby sister, in chains, in handcuffs, dressed fully in a Santa Barbara County Jumper. Her normally carvy Italian Body was gone, I've never seen her so thin. And sick. Her olive skin is so pale- her blue eyes were dull, it was as if her spirit had been sucked out of her.

I wasn't ready to see her like that.

There is nothing that can prepare you for something like this. I can't stop thinking about when Adrianna was little. Learning to walk she would follow me everywhere and want to copy "Sissy". When My mom's Ex-husband, (Adrianna & Joe's Dad), was on one of his rampages she would would run to me crying for comfort.

What made her feel like she couldn't do that with this? ...

If only it was that easy to heal her, I wish my hugs could take everything back. I wish when the divorce started to go through I was able to protect my brother and sister. It was my job.

Instead, that vile man who wore sheep cloth of a Father took them from me.

He was- is- perhaps will always be evil. Genuinly, I will not speak in hyperboles.

He hurt my mother, he stole my innocence, he tried to corrupt my brother- broke our family and now has gotten my sister hooked on Meth.

I do wish I could do more- I know God is in control. It is just so scary for me not to be able to fix it. I am completley out of control and can only offer my love, my spirit continually is in prayer.

I need your prayers. There is one God and he can preform miracles, there will be no life without Jesus. Only a slower death. Pray she finds him in this time of need, that the program we're trying to get her enrolled in will work. (Teen Challenge)

Most of all, please pray for her soul and healing.

Thanks. Love, Crish

A Very Late Update.

Well, where do we really even begin?
These past two years have been so packed with events it's going to a bit of an overload!

As you all know we exchanged our vows before our family and the Lord on February 17th, 2007!

Unfortunalty, we were not able to invite many of our dear friends due to a budget and our large families. Brent's side alone has well over 75 extended family members! With both sides of our families- plus guests, well, I am sure you all understand that we wish you could have joined us but are so grateful to have you all in our lives! Our friends are very important to us both!

After our perfect wedding on the beach, which those of you who doubt sunshine on a Feb wedding at the beach-----it was most defenitley 80* degrees and amazing! God is good and provided us with an answer to our faith in his glory! :).

Directly from the wedding we drove to LA where we flew out to our dream Honeymoon. I can not even explain how amazing it is when you have two Adventurous spirits back packing in through unknown territory. So Amazing!

Favorite Honeymoon Memories: (In Order of Destinations)

San Pedro, Belize-
The Beach! The sand is white crushed shell & beautiful! We kayaked, snorkled, dove and caught Conche shells... just gorgeous.

Central America also has an annual celebration of life with paint spraying. The locals will fill water bottles, spray bottles...etc., with any kind of paint: Acrylic, water base, non-waterbase...whatever, and spray everyone around! Fortunatley we found a way to stear away from that. More importantly, we managed to escape two young boys who wanted to egg the tourists, or "gringos", looking at us. Good thing Crisha knows Spanish and was able to tell Brent what the little painted boys were talking baout when staring at them.

Brent to Crisha "let's walk a little faster".

Tikal, Guatemala-
The Temples of Tikal are Truely MAGNIFICENT! I am pretty sure the only remarks we made through out our entire expedition of them were claims of our admiration, in fact if you have to chose a place for a vacation- you HAVE to see the temples.

Can you believe that they are believed to be created soley by man power, obsidian & limestone?

And, of course, how can you leave the Rainforest of Tikal without Ziplining through it?

Florence, Guatemala-
We really loved the culture. You will never meet people who are so genuinley caring and kind. The colors too. Guatemala believe everything should be livley like springtime, even the colors of their houses are beautiful...tourqouise, red, orange...etc. We bought some woven blankets and scarves that now accompany our house to make it to like springtime.

Mountain Pine Ridge, Belize-
This was our favorite place, and the one place we can not wait until our return! The Mountain Pine Ridge is exception in the fact that it has a blend of ecosystems due to limestone deposits in its forest land. It covers 300 sq feet and we tried to see as much as we could!

Thousand Foot Falls, Butterfly Falls we hiked everywhere!

But, of course, Brent's favorite memory would be carrying Crisha on his back to dinner on unlit paths. Crisha didn't want to step on any scorpians with sandeled feet.

Crisha "How embarressing."

Dangriga, Belize-
This place has the worst food but the best water rec. We were blessed enough to snorkel in the longest reef in the world!!! Brent even jumped in the water with a Carribean Stingray! (Crazy Schuler)

Pregnancy

So, 4 months after we were married we found out that we were 2 months pregnant! It was surreal how God created a miracle from our love for one another. In fact, it didn't seem real at all that there was a small human being inside until he came out!We would sing to Ezekiel, pray over him, watch him move inside... watch Crisha's belly grow, and before we really understood we were going to be parents soon- out came this little baby boy. With Daddy's smile and Mommy's eyes. Of course, with both of our hearts in the palm of his hand.

Walt Disney World

Besides spending our first year of marriage in Belize, Guatemala, Las Vegas, Arizona, LA, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, AZ, & moving 5 times ( another story completley which we will have visit another time as well)... we were able to visit the place commonly known as "the Happiest Place on Earth". (And it earns it's name quite well!) DISNEY WORLD!!!

We had such a blast hanging out with extended family; Mom & Dad Schuler, Joel & Jen's Family, Allan & his girlfriend Amanda, Jennalee, Collin, Aunt Linda & Uncle Steve's Family, Grandpa Collin, & Rob and Lisa'a Family!!!! It was great! Granite we couldn't always keep up with Crisha being 8 months pregnant, but really there is no place better to be when you're 8 months prego.

Fondest Memories

Going into Pre-term Labor: Maybe not the fondest, but certainly the most memorable! At Epcot Center Brent, Mom, Dad & Joel had to run Crisha to the local hospital. Timing what Crisha thought were just common discomforts, but were in actuallity contractions. 4 minutes apart! Upon arrival at the hospital, they were 2 minutes apart! The nurse told us if we weere maybe 2 hours later we would have left with a baby.

Ezekiel was almost named Mickey.

Crisha in a wheel chair: Nothing gave Brent more satisfaction that he could take care of Crisha while she had to listen and stay in the wheel chair! :)

Of course hanging out with everyone in the park.. there's just too many memories to recall all.

The Birth of Ezekiel Brent Schuler

Brent and Crisha were rockstars! Brent coached Crisha through 22 hours of Medication free labor! (This is with potossen induced labor too) At the end of this period, however, Crisha had not dialated and needed to relax so we opted for the epidural. Two hours later, out came the most beautiful liitle miracle. Our little miracle.

This is where we'll leave you for now. We will post a new blog soon on the "Ezekiel Adventure" from birth to current.
